Project Description:
This project involves the renovation of existing school, including replacement of existing flat roof with a pitched roof and extensive refurbishment of existing classrooms.

Also included is a proposed 1 classroom extension to the front designed over two stories with a glazed link to the existing school.

Proposed extension is to be constructed in reinforced concrete frame, supporting precast flooring and steel roofing with infill blockwork.

It is proposed to use GGBS, a waste product from the steel industry as a sustainable replacement of cement content in the reinforced concrete.
